How do the rankings work?

RebornRank is a themed discovery site. It does not replace source databases: data is requested on demand and cached locally to limit calls.

Displayed covers use URLs returned by the data source.

Each category searches each seed tag separately and merges the results, so a title does not need to contain every seed tag at once.

Rankings scan multiple pages and then apply the story-mechanic rules.

Hidden Gems applies score and popularity thresholds to search beyond the best-known titles.

Adult content is excluded by default.

Forgotten Source is shown as the creator project outside the ranking: no fabricated score or rank.
